Nathan and Carla Ahlstrom from Redeemed Homestead.
Nathan and Carla Ahlstrom are the parents of 4 amazing kids (plus one in Heaven) who live on 9 acres of God’s amazing creation in middle Tennessee with 7 sheep, 30+ chickens, a growing Aussie Collie pup, and one pet rabbit named Chai. With over 10 years of homeschooling experience and almost as many years gardening or homesteading, our desire at Redeemed Homestead is to encourage other homeschooling families to take a leap of faith into a homesteading lifestyle as a means of discipleship and growth in Christ-likeness while becoming less dependent on the world. As 1 Thessalonians 4:11 states, we “aspire to live quietly, … to mind our own affairs, …to work with our hands… so that we may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one.”

Cheyenne Lynnae of Farmhouse Book Co.
Cheyenne takes classic books, like the Swiss Family Robinson, and teaches children and families the skills found in these stories.
During the conference, she will be leading a themed workshop for the children, as well as speaking about homeschooling, alongside her mom, who has been homeschooling for 24 years.
