What do I need to bring?
Make sure you bring all liability waivers printed and signed. You also need to bring bedding, towels, toiletries, and don’t forget the bug spray! For a full list of what to bring check out our “Plan Your Stay” page.
How much does it cost?
The cost is $30 per person per night. Ask about our special discount if you are booking for more than 4 nights!
How many can you sleep?
Each cabin has 4 bunk beds and two bathrooms. We have 8 cabins but we can accommodate larger groups in special circumstances.
What size bedding do I need to bring?
The cabin beds are a standard twin. The Pastoral Trailer has a queen bed.
Do you provide food?
Groups will be responsible for their own food and paper products. (Plates, cups, napkins, utensils, etc.) We have a full kitchen and large outdoor grill for cooking. Some groups prefer to have meals catered by local restaurants. Please check out our “Things To Do” page for a list of vendors that offer catering near the retreat center.
Do you have audio equipment we can use?
Groups will need to bring their own audio equipment. We do offer a projector you can rent for $35 per day or you are welcome to bring your own.
Can I book my family reunion there?
The SGI Christian Retreat Center is for all Christian groups to use. We do not host family reunions on campus.
When are you open?
We are open year round!
What types of payment do you accept?
We are in the process of adding online payment options. We currently take cash and check.
How much is the deposit?
The initial non-refundable deposit is 20% of the total amount due and is required to reserve the booking.
Where is the retreat located on the Island?
Once you cross over the bridge, turn left on Pine St. and then left on Fifth St.
What is your religious affiliation?
The Saint George Island Christian Retreat Center is a non-denominational Christian Organization and is open for all Christian groups to use. For more information, please read our Mission Statement.
Who is your director?
Our directors are Sam and Nicole Still. They live on campus and are available to help with anything you may need, during your entire stay. Learn more about their family on our Director’s Page.
Is there a church service?
First Baptist Church Saint George Island is attached to the campus. Sunday School is at 9:45A and Sunday Service is at 11A. Sunday morning worship is streamed live on FB and the church website weekly. Find out more on the Church Website.
Is there a grill?
Yes! There is a large propane grill for your group to use.
Are you handicap accessible?
We have one cabin that can be accessed by the ramp and has a handicap accessible bathroom.
When is check-in/check-out?
Check-in is after 4p and check-outs are 11A. This allows for cleaning time between groups. If your group needs to arrive earlier or leave later, please let us know and we will be happy to help work around your schedule.
